Position Overview We''re looking for a Bilingual Digital Content Lead to oversee the development and execution of web content across FP Canada''s digital properties. You will ensure our websites consistently deliver informative, impactful content that reflects and reinforces our mandate of leading the advancement of professional financial planning in Canada. Reporting to the Manager, Communications, the Bilingual Digital Content Lead will lead comprehensive content strategies aligned with organizational objectives, partnering on program launches and web builds from inception through execution. This new role includes writing compelling web content, managing the full content lifecycle, and developing audience-specific approaches for My Account dashboards. As lead content strategist, you will champion user-centered design, own SEO content strategy, and develop FP Canada''s visibility approach for AI-powered search platforms. Working with cross-functional teams, you''ll monitor performance metrics, translate analytics into strategic recommendations, and identify emerging trends to keep FP Canada''s web presence innovative and effective. Key Responsibilities Oversee creation and execution of comprehensive content strategies that align FP Canada''s websites with organizational objectives. Write, edit, and publish web content including strategic landing pages and complex program information. Lead development and implementation of My Account content strategy with personalized, audience-specific dashboard experiences. Define content standards, governance frameworks, and editorial policies in alignment with broader brand guidelines that ensure consistency and content quality. Conduct content audits to identify optimization opportunities and enhanced user journeys. Own SEO content strategy including keyword research and development to drive organic demand. Develop FP Canada''s AI search visibility strategy for emerging discovery platforms. Monitor website performance metrics and translate analytics into strategic recommendations. Stay ahead of digital trends and identify opportunities to enhance FP Canada''s digital content capabilities. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: University degree or College diploma in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field 7+ years of progressive experience in digital content strategy and creation Experience working within asset management or financial services industry Fluency in both English and French (verbal and written) is required Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to explain complex topics clearly across various content formats Expert-level proficiency in SEO, including keyword research, content optimization, and performance measurement Understanding of emerging AI/LLM search technologies and content discoverability optimization Strong understanding of digital accessibility standards (WCAG), inclusive design, and bilingual content considerations Experience with personalized content strategies and audience segmentation for member portals The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: An excellent communicator who''s clear, persuasive, and skilled at influencing without authority A collaborative team player who works effectively across departments A proactive self-starter with strong project management skills who can coordinate multiple stakeholders and prioritize competing demands A strategic and analytical thinker who combines creativity with data-driven insights Detail-oriented with a passion for precision in language and strong editing skills Research-driven, resourceful, and adaptable with a growth mindset and curiosity for continuous learning About FP Canada Established in 1995, FP Canada is a national not-for-profit education, certification and professional oversight organization working in the public interest. This is a full-time position working 5 days per week, during core business hours, with some flexibility required.
