Job Description

Executive Search Consultant, Agribusiness Our client is a progressive Agribusiness that provides innovative products, services and solutions to their clients across Southwestern Ontario. As their seed division grows, a new Crop Solutions Advisor will join the team to deliver agronomic expertise and clientfocused service to drive the success of local producers. Combining agronomic insight with relationshipbased sales, this role strengthens our clients reputation as a trusted seed partner to farmers and the broader agricultural community. Reporting to the President and Assistant Seed Manager, you will: Identify, develop, and strengthen business relationships with new and existing clients. Provide agronomic recommendations and technical support that enhance productivity, sustainability, and profitability. Conduct field visits, assess crop performance, and develop tailored crop input solutions. Support research trials, demonstrations, and client education sessions to promote new seed technologies. Contribute to sales planning, quotations, and documentation in alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to uphold ISO 9001 standards, health and safety policies, and company values. Represent the business at trade shows, customer events, and community initiatives. Your background includes: Postsecondary education in Agriculture or a related field, with 2+ years of relevant agronomy or agricultural sales experience. Strong understanding of local crop production systems, soil management, and agronomic principles. Demonstrated relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to earn client trust and deliver results. Certified Crop Advisor designation (preferred) or willingness to obtain. Experience operating or supporting farm equipment and precision technology is considered an asset. Highly organized, proactive, and selfmotivated, with strong communication and problemsolving abilities. Local travel is required (40%) to meet client and business needs, particularly during planting and harvesting seasons, and for industry events and trade shows.
