Work site environment Dusty Work setting Various locations Responsibilities Tasks Estimate costs and materials Prepare floors for installations Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered Load, unload and transport construction materials Align and straighten tiles Clean and pile salvaged materials Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout Install tile strips Experience and specialization Installation specialization Ceramic tiles Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Repetitive tasks Manual dexterity Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Safety glasses/goggles and vest #J-18808-Ljbffr
