Job Description

Clinical Nurse Consultant ICU Medical As part of the Regional Sales teams, the Clinical Nurse Consultant supports and promotes our products and programs through education, training, assessment, and problemsolving in pre and postsales activities plus implementations. The role collaborates with the ICU Medical team (Area Manager, Device Sales Specialists, National Pharmacy Consultant, Regional Sales Manager, Marketing, etc.) to plan and execute regional, territory, and account plans. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrate expert knowledge of products, services and clinical recommendations to positively influence sales opportunities and implementations; Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and action plans that clinically influence decisions toward new products and services, driving acceptance and satisfaction in multisite or complex clinical environments; Serve as lead nursing consultant and resource to internal and external customers for all pre and postsales activities and implementation plans; Serve as lead educator and liaison between internal resources and customers regarding product and system implementations; Develop and lead inservice programs of products at customer facilities; Develop and lead accountspecific programs aimed at retaining or growing ICU Medicals product and service footprint; Track all projects in Klient or other projectmanagement tools; Mentor internal colleagues regarding best practices and protocol changes; Conduct presentations and discussions with key individuals/groups to address clinical issues or concerns; Assist with product complaints, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with other departments as needed; Maintain relationships with customers and provide ongoing support to users; Maintain a high level of clinical and technical competence on relevant products, technologies, protocols, and programs; Support local and national product trials, simulations, and trade shows; Assist with RFPs as required; Work on special projects as they arise. Qualifications, Education & Experience Minimum 18 years of age. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university required. Current active RN license required; BSN or MSN preferred. Minimum of 4 years of hospital nursing experience. Experience with specialization in IV Therapy, Critical Care, ED, Pediatrics/NICU, or Oncology. Leadership, mentorship, or educator experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills. Strong organization skills and ability to multitask. Computer literate and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Work Environment This job is a fieldbased role. Work may be performed in a home office and at customer locations. Position requires active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID19 vaccination, to perform the essential functions at customer locations. Employee may be required to sit, stand and walk for long periods, depending on customer needs. Requires a valid drivers license and compliance with the Authorized Driver Policy. Travel typically more than 50% of the time.
