Position Gas Plant Operator Responsibilities Operate and control the biomethane plant. Perform daytoday plant operations including monitoring, inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining systems, equipment, and buildings. Collect, record, and analyze data regarding plant performance. Perform various routine and nonroutine preventative maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoot equipment (mechanical, electrical, electronic, and plumbing) and restart after unscheduled shutdowns or trips. Operate forklift and man lift when necessary to maintain equipment. Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect potential failures and eliminate unplanned downtime. Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Close work orders and document work completed using the plant Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Order parts, supplies, and tools. Snow removal and deicing of the facility. Other jobrelated duties as needed. Schedule Monday to Friday, temporarily alternating biweekly between day shift and evening shift. Oncall approximately one week per month. Qualifications Safetyfirst mindset and proactively identifying and resolving safety issues. Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in facility operation and maintenance. Strong electrical aptitude. Collaborative and able to work well with others. Experience with SCADA systems. Selfstarter who can work independently. Experience with blowers, thermal oxidizers, adsorption vessels, gasfired engines, or gas compression equipment is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is an asset.
