Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Oracle Exadata Engineer with deep expertise in Exadata infrastructure and architecture to lead a largescale consolidation and modernization initiative . This is a strategic engineering role , not a DBA position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, architecting, and implementing Exadata solutions , including networking, storage, virtualization (KVM), ZDLRA, and ZFS appliances . Key Responsibilities Architect and design Exadata consolidation strategies for multiple environments. Lead modernization initiatives, including virtualization using KVM and integration with ZDLRA and ZFS storage solutions . Define endtoend architecture for Exadata infrastructure, covering compute, storage, networking, and backup. Provide technical leadership for migration planning, performance optimization, and highavailability design. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure seamless integration. Develop automation frameworks for provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management. Troubleshoot complex issues across network, storage, and virtualization layers . Ensure compliance with security, backup, and disaster recovery standards . Required Skills & Experience 10+ years in Oracle technology with 8+ years focused on Exadata architecture . Strong knowledge of: Exadata components : Compute nodes, storage cells, InfiniBand/RoCE networking. Virtualization technologies : KVM and Oracle VM. ZDLRA (Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance) and ZFS Storage Appliance . Proven experience in largescale Exadata consolidation projects . Expertise in capacity planning, performance tuning, and highavailability architecture . Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, shell scripting, etc.). Excellent communication and leadership skills.
