Job Description Reporting to the Kitchen Department Head, this position is responsible for frying, cutting, packing, weighing, labeling, and preparing various Kitchen products (BBQ, Hot Foods, Dim Sum, Sushi and/or others) in advance for customers to choose from. The role also includes stocking Kitchen products onto display cases in the sales area, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory and workplace cleanliness. T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 and has grown to Canadas largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores across the country. The company continues to expand, opening new stores in the coming years. Responsibilities Greet customers with a friendly, enthusiastic smile. Assist customers in selecting Kitchen products and provide recommendations as needed. Ensure product quality, food safety, freshness, and strictly practice FIFO within the department. Prepare various Kitchen products, label them correctly, and display them in the display areas and cases. Maintain workplace cleanliness by washing and ensuring that work tools are clean and well kept. Keep product displays full, attractive, and neat; replenish inventory timely as necessary. Follow procedures to verify and process expired Kitchen Deli products and manage shrinkage. Receive product deliveries and take customer orders. Ensure daily sales and other checklists are properly completed. Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior. Qualifications Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays. Able to stand for long periods and use workrelated tools safely. Knowledge of basic work safety. Relevant experience and knowledge of Kitchen deli products, display, promotion, and packaging techniques preferred.
