TLDR: We are looking for a Level 1 or 2 FSRA certified mortgage agent with strong underwriting chops to join our team. This is the perfect role for an underwriter who wants to try their hand at the client side. We provide the customers & you close them. You are paid on salary plus commission. This role gives you the earning potential of a high producing mortgage agent without the risk of starting your own business you get the stability of a paycheque and massive upside potential. Location: Remote, but must be based in Ontario. We are looking for a Sales Executive (SE) to join our sales team. In this role, you will own the customer relationship from the time they complete their application through to when their deal is closed. You will help the customer choose the best financial product for them, work toward their approval, and get them funded, all while providing a world class experience. Lotly drives customer acquisition and you will receive approximately 2 new clients a day, with the expectation that you close at least 5 deals a month. This is a high volume job that requires solid problem solving, people skills, and a very high degree of organization. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel to our Toronto office and other offsite locations. While the position is remote, you must be based in Ontario, Canada to align with Eastern Time (EST) working hours. Your regular hours will be 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST. RESPONSIBILITIES Effectively solution 1-3 applications a day this will include suggesting financial products that help customers achieve their goals Work with our funding partners to get the customer approved Liaison with our legal partners to move every file seamlessly through closing Maintain a 20% end-to-end conversion rate Provide over-the-top customer care that is empathetic, friendly, and fast 1+ years of professional mortgage underwriting experience (experience with alternative or equity based lending is strongly preferred) Level 1 or 2 FSRA certified mortgage agent Located in Ontario with the ability to travel to Toronto for team events Native proficiency in English, both verbal and written Strong knack for problem solving complex financial situations Able to understand and articulate financial concepts and products Very high EQ able to provide top notch service even in the most difficult situations Able to remain organized in a fast paced environment Low ego and eager to be coached be open minded and ready to modify your sales approach to align with Lotlys playbook Results oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals Quiet working space available to take customer calls $75,000 base pay plus uncapped commission expected OTE of $140,000 $200,000+ for top performance Comprehensive health and dental insurance Collaborative and innovative work culture This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Fintech, be part of an A-players Sales team, and be in a position with huge professional development possibilities.
