Overview The Marketing Enablement & Technology (MET) team sits within Instacart''s Marketing organization, building the systems, APIs, and data pipelines powering Instacart''s Paid Marketing channelsone of our most substantial growth levers. Operating at the intersection of Marketing, Product, and Engineering, we own the platforms behind campaign feeds, audience targeting, event pipelines, and QA automation. About the Job Own and enhance mobile event tracking infrastructure in our iOS app, focusing on thirdparty SDK integrations (Meta, TikTok, Branch, Braze, Firebase, Google Tag Manager, AdServices, etc.). Diagnose and resolve mobile SDK integration issues to support realtime analytics, attribution, and campaign optimization across multiple ad platforms. Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and Snowflake, integrating mobile event data with marketing analytics systems for performance measurement and attribution. Implement features endtoend with minimal oversight, writing clean, reusable, welldocumented code that follows secure coding practices and team standards. Collaborate with marketing teams and thirdparty channel providers to streamline ad conversions, debug tracking issues, and ensure data accuracy across the mobile funnel. About You Minimum Qualifications 24 years of experience developing and supporting iOS applications, with strong command of Swift and UIKit (ObjectiveC familiarity a plus). Demonstrated success integrating and troubleshooting thirdparty SDKs (Meta, Firebase, Branch, etc.) for analytics and attribution purposes. Experience with event tracking, mobile analytics, and attribution frameworks (e.g., SKAdNetwork, AdServices, App Tracking Transparency). Proficiency with Python and SQL for building data pipelines and performing data validation, with familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms. Strong organizational skills with ability to deliver complete features independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Effective communicator who can collaborate across marketing, mobile engineering, and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow) and data transformation frameworks (DBT) for building marketing data pipelines. Handson experience managing or working with Google Tag Manager for mobile app tracking and event configuration. Understanding of digital marketing concepts and performance marketing KPIs (ROAS, LTV, CAC, CPA, conversion attribution). Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools (Datadog, Sentry, Mode, Amplitude, Mixpanel) for mobile app observability. Experience with data privacy and compliance requirements in mobile tracking (GDPR, CCPA, ATT framework).
