About the role: Reporting totheSuperintendent,Maintenance, theSupervisor,Maintenance Electrical,willbe responsible forall areas of maintenance activity.This position combines the responsibilities for electrical trades, schedule execution, continuous improvement, and staffing to ensure company standards aremaintained. Whetherit''sbiking and skiing, or the laid-back atmosphere of fishing and hiking, there is something for everyone Benefits: Two Annual Bonus Plans Comprehensive Benefits Plan Retirement Package Health Lifestyle Account In this role you will: Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies Maintain an environmentally sound maintenance program that holds employees accountable for the proactive application of the site''s environmental programs Direct the troubleshooting of equipment failures todetermineroot cause andinitiateappropriate remedialaction Maintain electrical systems on mobile equipment, mine power distribution systems and mine site wireless communications Manage daily and weekly work schedules to ensure work is complete on time and on budget through usage of Short Interval Controls Collect andanalyzework delay codes toidentifychallenges totimelycompletion of scheduled jobs and work with available resources to reduce and/oreliminateidentified delays Maximize employee work performance and productivity Participatein a Work Control Team to develop maintenance13-weekschedules Follow-up on current jobs andassistelectricaltradespeoplewith troubleshooting Ensure repair history is properly documented in Dynamic AX Assistin sourcing and requisitioning maintenance supplies,equipmentand services within budgeted guidelines Work with the General Supervisor todetermineneed for contractors based on shop load as well as supervision of contractors Coordinate and recommend internal and external training for all skilledlabour Determineand recommend overtime work to the General Supervisor andsubsequentlyapprove overtime work Maintainvacation schedules using Vacation Allotment guidelines Complete employee work performance evaluations as per the company''s requirements Be responsible forKey Performance Indicators,schedulecomplianceand equipment availability Maintain mine electrical power distribution system Ensure electrical compliance to any regulatory requirementssuch asCSA,andHSRC Requirements: Possess a valid Electrical Journeyperson''s ticket, related technicaldiplomaor engineering degree Previousmine or industrial experience Strong understanding of Programmable Logic Control Demonstrated organizational, planning, and employee relations skills Supervisory experience considered an asset, along with experience in materials acquisition,planningand scheduling Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel,Outlookand Word; training in Microsoft Dynamics AX will be provided $120,000 - $149,000 a year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate''s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
