TransCanada Turbines (TCT) is the sole authorized overhaul, repair and maintenance service provider for Siemens Energy and General Electric (GE) aeroderivative industrial gas turbines, serving an expanding international client base. We are currently looking for an experienced Parts Coordinator/Driver - Component Repair to join our growing team in our Balzac, AB. location. Reporting to the Team Leader, Component Repair, the Parts Coordinator/Driver will be expected to assist in all duties within the Component Repair department including the receiving, shipping, storing, issuing and handling of turbine parts and materials. This position requires the individual to be highly organized with the ability to shift priorities at a moment''s notice, work at a reliable and consistent pace while producing and maintaining an extremely high level of quality. Duties The duties will include but will not be limited to the following: Operate / Drive Company owned 5-ton delivery truck (Ford F650 or equivalent) to and from facilities. Load and unload components from delivery truck using forklift, pallet jacks, and carts. Handle sensitive, high-value turbine components. Coordinate with area Leaders to schedule parts forprocessingthrough Component Repair. Organize and stage components to be shipped to the Component Repair facility. Package and prepare parts for shipment to Component Repair facility Book inventory items into and out of internal ERP. Receive and issue materials, while ensuring the accurate maintenance of records, including goods inward inspection. Ensure ISO processes are followed without exception. Check accuracy of inventory, quality and quantity. Work within a tightly scheduled environment. Assist inventory system specification, implementation, and application. Increase knowledge of the HSE Policy and Manual and maintain a positive attitude towards the health and safety of myself and my coworkers. Take ownership of HSE issues and demonstrate enthusiasm and support for HSE. Other duties as directed by the Team Leader, Component Repair. This position will require the candidate to work on a shift rotation including day shift and evening shift. Employee / team flexibility is of prime importance to TransCanada Turbines. It is important that all employees are willing and able to assist with any activity, at any time, as necessary to support the needs of a changing and demanding customer base in the gas turbine repair and overhaul business. The minimum training and/or educational requirement for this role is 2 years related experience or a combination of education and experience that allows the individual to adequately perform the role, determined by Team Lead, Component Repair. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional driving skills and pass a practical road test in both a passenger pickup truck and a 5-ton delivery truck prior to completing their 3-month probation period.
