Banfield is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join the BanFam and help shape smart, insight-driven media campaigns that support our clients'' goals.You''ll work closely with our Media Director and internal teams to develop and execute integrated media strategies across digital and traditional channels. Position title: Paid Media Specialist (existing vacancy) Reports to: Media Director We''re looking for someone who has: A keen attention to detail An appetite for a fast-pacedagencyenvironment Strong knowledge of traditional and digital advertising Excellent project management skills An ability to multitask effectively An ambition and drive to produce great results for clients A curiosity and eagerness to learn about media campaigns Objective of this role: Develop and present strategic direction and media recommendations for client campaigns Build and execute integrated media plans across all channels (digital, social, traditional) Assist in defining and tracking KPIs, applying an analytical lens to campaign planning and reporting Ensure quality and accuracy in all media deliverables through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Support team development through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and participation in training Cultivate strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted strategic resource Help shape Banfield''s media point of view by staying current on media trends, platforms, and best practices Summary of responsibilities: Media strategy and planning Contribute to campaign strategy from briefing through to activation Research audience insights, channel performance and media placements against the campaign objectives Translate insights and research into objective -first, audience driven plans Define KPIs for media performance (CTR, ROAS, CPM, CPC, etc.) Align media planning with creative and strategy teams for cohesive execution Optimize media placements to ensure they deliver against objectives Present media rationale, plans, and performance updates to clients Campaign execution and optimization Oversee media implementation, execute media buys and ensure campaigns launch on time and run effectively Monitor performance and provide recommendations for real-time optimizations and budget allocations Analyze campaign results and develop actionable insights to refine strategies Prepare and present performance reports to internal teams and clients Client engagement Participate in client meetings, presenting work with clarity and confidence Help identify opportunities for growth and value-add initiatives Maintain positive, professional relationships with client and partner teams What you bring: Familiarity and knowledge across all paid media channels including traditional media(OOH, radio, print, TV) 5+ years in media planning, with strong knowledge of digital planning principles Client management experience and superior communication skills (written & verbal) Proficiency with media platforms: Meta Business Centre, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads Knowledge of website tracking (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, HotJar) is an asset An understanding of programmatic advertising Fluency in both English and French is an asset What Banfield can offer: Hybrid WFH model* Experience-based compensation package A close-knit, fun and collaborative teamwork environment Team-building perks and activities including: Friday happy hour, quarterly fun day, weekly BBQ lunch on our front lawn, holiday celebrations, and a beautiful heritage building office in Hintonburg *The candidate must be based in the Ottawa/Gatineau area The application deadline for this position is February 20th, 2026.
