At Atlantic, your ideas matter, your growth is supported and your work makes a real impact. **The role is a contract ending on May 31, 2026 Work Schedule: 12:30pm- 9:00pm The Opportunity We are seeking Loading Dock Coordinator for our Mills Warehouse. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor the ideal candidate will be overseeing and managing all activities related to loading and unloading freight, ensuring efficient and safe operations, including coordinating with drivers, verifying shipments, and managing dock equipment. What you''ll do Coordination and Supervision: Supervise warehouse workers and ensure efficient loading and unloading of freight. Coordinate with drivers, shippers, and receivers to confirm load details, appointments, and dock availability. Manage the flow of traffic and activities on the loading dock. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Logistics and Planning: Plan and schedule loading and unloading activities. Manage transportation resources, including trailers and equipment. Ensure accurate and timely shipment of goods. Verify shipments and reconcile discrepancies. Equipment Management: Oversee the safe operation of dock equipment, such as forklifts, dock plates, and dock doors. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Communication and Customer Service: Communicate effectively with drivers, shippers, and receivers. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Inventory Control: Assist with inventory control and material handling. Ensure accurate record-keeping of shipments. Other Duties: May be responsible for tasks such as Correcting/Printing out paperwork, applying Seals, and using warehouse management software. May assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
