The Opportunity: Flight Instructor for multi-engine and Group 1 IFR flight training. You will provide practical training to students in support of faculty in the School of Aviation by supervising flight learning activity, including ground briefing, in-flight and simulator training, as well as participating in all aspects of flight operations routines, including flight following. What you need to be successful: Minimum valid Class III Instructor Rating and qualified to instruct multi-engine ratings Qualified to instruct Group I Instrument Rating Two-year Aviation diploma or equivalent professional training One year of related experience Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a collaborative team environment Valid Driver''s License Assets highly considered are knowledge and training on electrical or mechanical equipment and familiarity with computer support that might include: experience with operations of a Flight Training Unit, flight following, dispatch experience with presentations to groups of individuals formal training in electronics, working knowledge in computer hardware Knowledge and experience with office productivity software packages This is a full-time support staff position, 40 hours/week, Payband G - $ $39.93/hour (starting rate $34.60/hour).
