Department Operations Location Fredericton Position Type Full Time Salary Date Description Job Posting: Casual Overnight/Weekend Security Officer, Fredericton, NB Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire mature and responsible team members, in Fredericton, for casual overnight and weekend security work. Hours: 8 to 12 hour shifts as needed The Role: The Casual Security Officer is responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on the site. We are seeking candidates with: Physical fitness to perform rounds, including multiple sets of stairs, in all types of environmental conditions - may also require sitting for extended periods of time A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks Customer service experience Valid class 5 Driver''s License Reliable transportation The successful candidate must be able to: Maintain high levels of confidentiality Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations Respond to emergency situations and help others Clean Criminal Record and the ability to obtain required security clearances Work vacant shifts sometimes on short notice Designated Veteran Status is an asset but not a requirement.
