The Role: Dxm Technology is looking for a skilled Technician to handle the installation, commissioning, and support of professional AV and broadcast systems for our clients in Toronto. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Physical installation of AV equipment (racks, displays, cameras, audio systems) at client sites. Cabling & Termination: Professional cabling, soldering, and termination of video, audio, and network signals (SDI, XLR, CAT6, Fiber). Configuration: Setup and configuration of broadcast gear, control systems, and IP-based workflows (SMPTE 2110, NDI, Dante). Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely. Training: Provide basic training to clients on how to operate their new systems. Requirements: Diploma in Electronics, Media Technology, or relevant field experience. Hands-on experience with broadcast workflows and AV integration. Proficiency in reading schematics and floor plans. Strong knowledge of networking (IP addressing, switches, VLANS) as applied to AV. Valid driver''s license and ability to travel within the GTA. Detail-oriented with a professional attitude on client sites. What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage or salary based on experience.
