Marlin Travel Kamloops is hiring a part time Junior Travel Agent to join our in-office team. We''re looking for someone enthusiastic about travel, eager to learn, and committed to providing excellent customer service. Prior experience or education in travel and tourism is an asset but not required. This is a part time position, with occasional Saturdays. Priority will be given to applicants with travel agent experience. Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets Research and recommend destinations, flights, accommodations, tours, and activities Book travel arrangements, including air, hotel, car rentals, cruises, and insurance Provide accurate information on travel requirements. Answer phones, assist walk-in clients, and manage day-to-day office duties Handle changes, cancellations, and unexpected issues with professionalism Stay updated on travel trends, promotions, and industry changes Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat and referral business Support senior consultants with administrative tasks and customer follow-ups Qualifications Strong computer skills. Strong communication and organizational skills Excellent customer service with a detail-oriented, organized approach Ability to work independently and multi task.
