Job Description

Responsibilities: -Programming with GIBBS - Set up and operate and maintain CNC Milling machines to perform precision machining operations - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, charts, tables and specifications to determine machining operations Maintain, Repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate and modify parts as needed Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing principles Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e/g., Micrometers, calipers) -Must be able to work independently Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC MILL Operator / Machinist - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings - Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes - Familiarity with GIBBS CAM surfacing is a plus - Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately - Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
