We are recruiting for the following position(s): Automation Technologist - Ignition (Full-time) About the job: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ignition Developer / Automation Technologist to join our automation and controls team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting industrial automation and SCADA solutions using Inductive Automation''s Ignition platform and modern PLC-based control systems. What you''ll do: Design, develop, and deploy SCADA systems and HMIs using Ignition Perspective and Vision Develop PLC control logic and integrate control systems with SCADA platforms Commission, test, and troubleshoot automation systems both in-house and on-site Integrate Ignition with PLCs, databases, historians, and external APIs Develop system architecture, control narratives, and technical documentation Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to define project scope and requirements Perform system upgrades, expansions, and optimization of existing automation platforms Diagnose and resolve control system, network, and instrumentation issues Follow industry best practices for cybersecurity, version control, testing, and documentation Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end users and internal teams You have: Proven experience with Ignition SCADA platform (Perspective and/or Vision) Proficiency in Python scripting and SQL Strong understanding of PLC programming and industrial automation systems Experience with industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, etc.) Hands-on experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, GE, etc.) Familiarity with industrial networks, instrumentation, and control panels Comfortable with field commissioning and troubleshooting (steel-toed boots welcome) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preference given to those with: o Inductive Automation Ignition Certification. o Bachelor''s degree in Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
