Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting store operations, leading sales initiatives, and ensuring excellent customer service. Bilingual abilities and prior supervisory experience are highly valued to effectively communicate with diverse customers and staff. Duties Assist in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies Ensure pizzas and menu items are prepared according to Freshslice standards Lead and supervise retail staff, providing training, coaching, and development opportunities Coordinate purchasing activities and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and develop action plans to meet targets Assist with shift scheduling and workforce planning Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean store environment Qualifications Proven supervisory or management experience in retail or related fields Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising, cash handling, and bookkeeping software Solid understanding of retail sales strategies, marketing, pricing, and store management principles Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Analytical mindset with math proficiency for sales analysis and financial tasks High level of professionalism, organizational skills, and attention to detail This Assistant Manager role is essential for driving store success through effective leadership, operational excellence, and outstanding customer engagement.
