Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management and demonstrate proficiency in fiscal management, human resources, and healthcare administration. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage staff, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Oversee the administrative functions of the facility, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to policies. Manage budgeting and financial management activities, including monitoring expenses and optimizing resource allocation. Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records. Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective patient care and service delivery. Implement and manage electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and data management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, billing practices, and healthcare regulations. Facilitate training for staff on office management procedures and EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks. Collaborate with human resources on staffing needs, recruitment, and employee relations. Skills Strong background in fiscal management and budgeting within a healthcare setting. Experience in medical office management or clinic experience is highly desirable. Knowledge Dentrix is a MUST. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Understanding of managed care principles and utilization management practices. Experience in acute care or critical care environments is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
