We sell top quality Italian grocery items and make fresh custom panini. Responsibilities: Promote Italian food products Prepare and serve deli products, especially sandwiches and cold cuts Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent customer service Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and grills Receive and stock inventory as needed Experience: - Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred - Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members - Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
