Location: Cenovus Christina Lake Shift Schedule: Tuesday - Tuesday 12 Hours per day (84 hours per week) Housing: Camp Accommodation Provided Travel To Site: Flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary (Sunwest) Job Duties: Operate equipment and perform labor duties for snow and ice control, dust control, erosion control, roadside maintenance, road surface maintenance, and various other lease maintenance services. Ensure maintenance facilities are well maintained and properly stocked with maintenance supplies and equipment supplies. Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, maintaining proper awareness of surroundings while operating the grader. Ensure ''pre-trips'' and Equipment Checklists are completed daily and any equipment concerns are addressed. Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure operational safety and performance. Collaborate with the project team to execute earthworks projects according to plan, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Follow safety guidelines, approved processes, and procedures on the job site. Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity. Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors. Communicate in a polite and courteous manner. Requirements: Drug and Alcohol, Fitness Test, and site access requirements 1-3 years of experience minimum Valid Class 5 Alberta driver''s license Applicants must already hold the following certifications to be eligible for this position. If the successful candidate does not already possess these certifications, they will be required to obtain them at their own expense prior to commencing work.
