By putting our customers at the centre of everything we do and making it easier for colleagues to get things done, the **Discovery and Prioritization Pod** is a key member of the RMB journey to drive distribution strategies and innovation through all stages of the product lifecycle.**Job Description:**We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and results-driven Business Specialist (Product Owner) to join our Discovery and Prioritization pod team. As a Business Specialist in this role, you will lead discovery efforts and will collaborate with Business and Technology partners to define and deliver innovative cash management capabilities for our banking platform TD Business Central. TDBC modernizes our cash management services to meet customer needs as we move away from legacy platforms and manual processes across our multiple business segments (Commercial, SBB, Corporate).You are expected to be a strong self-starter, who works well independently, is proactive to identify, define, prioritize, and lead the requirements discovery through in-depth understanding of customer and business value delivery to our customers and colleagues. Strong candidates for this role will be known for taking initiative and ownership, can meet deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities, enjoys starting with a blank page to create new path, works well with ambiguity.**Key Responsibilities:*** **Lead Discovery Efforts:** Drive the exploration and validation of business requirements for cash management capabilities, aligning them with the platform''s strategic vision and customer needs.* **Collaborate Across Teams:** Partner with Business Analysts, Human Centre of Design, Risk and Control partners, Software Engineering, Change Management, Front-line distribution, back-office colleagues and Technology Delivery teams to transform business requirements into actionable user stories and ensure seamless delivery.* **Stakeholder Engagement:** Work closely with stakeholders, including internal teams and clients, to gather insights, define priorities, and refine requirements.* **Backlog Management:** Own and prioritize the prioritization backlog, ensuring it reflects business objectives and delivers maximum value.* **Strategic Problem-Solving:** Analyze complex business needs, identify gaps in current capabilities, and recommend innovative solutions to address them.* **Market Awareness:** Stay informed about trends in cash management and fintech to ensure the platform remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.* **Delivery Oversight:** Monitor development progress, provide clarity during Product Owner syncs, and ensure solutions meet quality and performance expectations.**What Youll Bring:*** **Experience:** 5+ years of experience as a Business Specialist, Product Owner, or similar role in a banking, fintech, or cash management environment.* **Collaboration Skills:** Proven ability to work closely with Business Analysts, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.* **Leadership:** Demonstrated ability to lead discovery sessions and guide teams through requirements definition and prioritization processes.* **Product and Technical Acumen:** Strong understanding of banking cash management products, capabilities, platforms, payment systems, and cash flow optimization practices.* **Analytical Mindset:** Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and make data-driven decisions.* **Communication Skills:** Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
