Century Pines is a mature and picturesque 18 hole parkland golf course near Hamilton, Ontario. Home to majestic Maple, Oak, and Pine trees that fortify and frame its sculpted bentgrass fairways, lush tee decks, and undulating greens. Four sets of tee blocks allow a novice golfer to appreciate the generous landing areas, while challenging more accomplished players to execute a variety of shots using every club in the bag. We are seeking a dedicated Assistant/Apprentice Golf Professional as a key member of the golf operations team and assist the Head Golf Professional in managing all golf and golf-related activities at the facility. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service Coordinate, train and supervise pro shop and outside services staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service Assist in coordinating groups, leagues and tournament play as directed by the Head Golf Professional Monitor and take action to ensure the best customer experience, including overseeing pace of play, safety, and course conditions Become an expert with Lightspeed POS, assist with merchandise sales and inventory control in the golf shop Represent the Club in a professional manner at all times Perform other duties as assigned, with flexibility across different KaneffGolf locations Qualifications Golf operations experience is a strong asset Member of the PGA of Canada in good standing is highly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Exceptional written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and detailoriented abilities Experience in Golf Genius and Lightspeed POS is a strong asset but not required Compensation Hourly wage between $21 $25 (to be negotiated based on credentials and experience) Opportunity for lesson revenue at an 80/20 split PGA dues paid to be negotiated Club package to be negotiated Benefits / Perks Playing privileges at all KaneffGolf properties Discounts for friends and family Discounted merchandise Flexible schedule: designed to support worklife balance 5day work week paid hourly Staff meal plan: access to an employee meal program PGA of Canada Specialization: Teaching, PGA of Canada Specialization Golf Operations Start Date: 2026-03-01 Course Website: Employment Duration: Approx March to November Contact Information: Chris Conroy, Head Golf Professional #J-18808-Ljbffr
