Job Title: Security Systems Technician Location: Markham, Ontario Type: Full-time, Permanent Experience: 1-3 years Spotter Security is growing, and we are looking for talented technicians who will grow with us. Overview Our Security Systems Technicians are the face of our company as the person with whom our clients will meet the most. This is a handson position involving installing, maintaining, and updating security system hardware on customer sites across the GTA, with daily office at our Markham office. Responsibilities Communicate effectively with customers, managing expectations Install low voltage cable for security cameras, card access systems, and alarm systems Terminate CAT5/6 cable with RJ45 and patch panel Mount and terminate access control panels (S2, Brivo, Avigilon) Mount and focus IP cameras (Axis, Avigilon) Mount and terminate alarm panels (DSC) Mount network racks and wall enclosures Install and terminate door strikes and card readers Read blueprints and drawings Qualifications Please indicate relevant experience and qualifications on your resume.
