Our practice is one of the worlds largest and has talented, innovative professionals dedicated to teamwork and exceptional client service. People Advisory Services encompasses Mobility, Global Employment Tax Services, Total Rewards, HR Performance Improvement and Immigration services. PAS Mobility services include Canadian and US personal income tax compliance and advisory services, mobility policy design, executive compensation advice, employer tax advice, and global coordination. We have an excellent career opportunity for a Manager, Mobility Expatriate Tax. This job posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization. Your key responsibilities Interface with clients and colleagues, located throughout the world, by phone, virtual meetings and in person Analyze client tax data to determine appropriate and optimal Canadian and US filing positions, and provide tax planning advice to clients Review US and Canadian personal income tax returns Manage the financials of client accounts by: Determining resource requirements Timely invoicing and appropriate revenue recognition Monitoring financial metrics for optimal results Provide guidance to more junior colleagues on both tax technical and performance management skills Contribute to a flexible, stable, and teamoriented working culture that fosters personal development and a positive attitude Engage in tax technical research to support both compliance and advisory deliverables Leverage cuttingedge technology to maximize productivity Understand and address client needs in an everchanging mobility landscape, by offering integrated mobility solutions such as immigration, workforce advisory and payroll systems Skills and attributes for success Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to confidently collaborate across teams Ability to manage shifting priorities through strong organizational and timemanagement skills Commitment to fostering a flexible, stable, and teamoriented culture that encourages personal development and positivity Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problemsolving abilities Dedicated to continuous learning in a tax technical environment utilizing evolving technology To qualify for the role, you must have A diploma or bachelors degree, ideally with an emphasis on accounting, finance or a related field Three or more years experience in US and/or Packers personal income tax Enrollment in or completion of a Canadian or US CPA or US EA is preferred Excellent knowledge of prevalent automated tax processing systems and current tax laws in a technical specialization area Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel What we offer At EY, our Total Rewards package supports our commitment to creating a leading people culture built on highperformance teaming where everyone can achieve their potential and contribute to building a better, working world for our people, our clients and our communities. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
