Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable and Credit Job Description Posted Monday, January 19, 2026 at 5:00 AM | Expires Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 4:59 AM Position Summary Reporting to the Vice President Finance, the Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable & Credit will oversee the entire credit and accounts receivable process including consistent application of credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customer, assessment of credit worthiness of potential customers, management of the credit and collections staff across Sofina. The role will work with sales representatives/A/R team to collect accounts and improve cash flow, and work with site controllers to reconcile AR accounts. Responsible for providing reporting with actionable insights and setting collections strategies to optimize collections. Key Accountabilities: Oversee investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers and monitor the collection of accounts due to the organization; Design and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables; Measure and report weekly and monthly on department A/R performance with appropriate metrics; Monitor deductions being taken by customers and help to resolve issues; Works collaboratively with Sales to resolve customer issues with collections; Ensure that the goals of cash management of the company are met re: collections; Organize workflow and process activities to maximize departmental productivity; Manage the performance of credit and collections personnel; Supports company sales efforts by providing credit support that maintains balance between minimizing risk and maximizing revenues. Requirements: Post-Secondary education in Business Minimum 10 years credit & collections management experience in food manufacturing. Experience in managing teams remotely across multiple locations; Working knowledge or experience in trade-spend is considered an asset Effective communication skills and proven ability to establish rapport and maintain relationships; Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and achieve goals and objectives; Strong leadership and analytical skills and operate effectively under pressure. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, detail oriented Hiring Range: CAD $95,800 - $145,800 Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus up to 16.5% of base salary subject to the plan terms and conditions. Please note that the expected hiring range provided is derived from a group of like roles within Sofina. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, skillset of the candidate and internal equity. This position is currently an active vacancy.
