Responsibilities What Youll Lead & Deliver Customer Engagement & Relationship Building Join sales reps on customer calls to support new business pursuits, resolve issues, and align on pricing strategy Strengthen relationships with key accounts and ensure longterm retention and satisfaction Sales Team Leadership Coach and mentor your team oneonone and in group settings Review pipelines, negotiate contracts, support rate increases, and align team strategy with company goals Build a culture of accountability, performance, and collaboration Strategic Project Leadership Drive major initiatives such as CRM upgrades, customer integrations and the overall digital agenda Work crossfunctionally to roll out new systems, tools, and processes that elevate the region''s performance Operational & Administrative Management Ensure CRM usage, accuracy, and key contract documentation Support recruitment and administrative functions that strengthen team capacity and performance Qualifications What You Bring University degree in a related discipline 10+ years of experience , including 5+ years in the transportation industry Proven success leading and motivating sales teams to exceed targets Strong, decisive leadership with the ability to act quickly and confidently Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner closely with the SVP of Sales Deep understanding of LTL, courier, truckload, and logistics services Solid grasp of pricing strategy and operational processes, with the ability to develop solutions that drive results About Us Founded in 1882, J.D.
