The Role As a Department Associate (Metro), you provide retail services to a unique client base members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and support the community by assisting in the set-up of various departments, ensuring shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed. You provide technical and professional guidance on sales and products, and address customer concerns or complaints to ensure satisfaction. You assist with ordering products and pricing new inventory. The Department Associate may also provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sale systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.
