Overview Millwright position at Amrize. Were seeking a Millwright who can maintain, improve, and optimize the mechanical operations of Amrizes six Ready Mix Concrete Facilities in the Greater Winnipeg Area. What Youll Accomplish Ensure each facility is operationally capable of producing concrete at design capacity to meet customer demands. Proactively address breakdown events with urgency while maintaining safety and product quality. Inspect and monitor all mechanical equipment to emphasize preventative maintenance over breakdown maintenance. Aim to build and maintain a high-performing group of facilities. Purchase and maintain inventories of parts and supplies within corporate guidelines to achieve cost efficiency. Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and promote a culture of safety. What Were Looking For Education: High school Diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience: 1 year of Industrial Millwright Experience Required Technical Experience: Basic computer skills (email, word-processing, spreadsheets) Required Training/Certifications: Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) formal apprenticeship.
