Job Details Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada Position: Fulltime / 40 hours per week Shift: Monday Friday, 8hour shifts Pay Rate: $70,000 $72,500 per year Special Requirements Must clear drug testing due to safety requirements Must maintain no facial hair (beard or mustache) due to PPE equipment Clean criminal record Must be over 25 and have a clean driver abstract (insurance requirement) Responsibilities Supervise daytoday security operations of assigned client sites Manage a team of security officers, supervisors, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and development Ensure highquality security services that protect people and property Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees Coordinate support services to meet or exceed financial and operational goals while delivering quality customer service Provide support on all HSE matters, including investigations of injury/illness and learningfromincident packages Develop and implement security policies, programs, and contingency plans to minimize risks Host security awareness training sessions and investigate site incidents Conduct midyear and endyear evaluations for all security team professionals Provide securityrelated emergency response services and coordinate activities during sitewide emergencies Required Qualifications Postsecondary education in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience Valid security licence, or ability to obtain one Minimum of two (2) years of security supervisory experience Valid Class 5 drivers licence with a clean driver abstract Additional Skills and Experience Proven experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality team members Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Familiarity with security systems and technologies is beneficial Problemsolving ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Closing Statement Allied Universal is an inclusive and equitable employer, encouraging applications from qualified women and men including persons with disabilities, members of visible minorities, and Aboriginal persons.
