Your Opportunity BDO Canada has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Content Marketing Manager to join the Personal Debt Solutions (PDS) business line. The ideal candidate will be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours. The Bilingual Content Marketing Manager is a replacement role and will oversee PR initiatives, copy writing for multichannel advertising including traditional advertising copy (Radio, TV, Outofhome) and digital marketing responsibilities such as content marketing, SEO, CRM (Email) Marketing, social media and community management. You have a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and emerging trends and how they can be applied in a B2C environment. As a member of the Marketplace team, you will report to the Personal Debt Solutions Senior Manager and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including regional practice professionals, to develop and execute content marketing campaigns, drive topoffunnel leads and growth in traffic to national and local websites. This individual must be a dedicated teamplayer, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Content Planning Work closely with the National PDS Marketplace team, the firms thought leaders, and external vendors to develop content in support of the firms growth strategy; oversee and contribute to the creative development of TV, radio, and social media campaigns. Develop content strategy, execute and measure content marketing campaigns for the full marketing funnel; contribute to the French content creation process and editorial calendar. Use data and analytics to drive content ideation and strategy, support the development and refinement of content themes, personas, path to purchase, and content distribution strategy. Develop CRM (Email) Marketing campaigns and demonstrate knowledge of email marketing fundamentals and platforms, including list segmentation and campaign execution. Monitor and analyze SEO performance alongside BDOs SEO agency; identify trends and areas for improvement. Oversee the creation of highquality, engaging, and SEOfriendly content across various formats (blog posts, articles, landing pages, whitepapers, case studies, video scripts). Content Creation Outline, research and create a variety of engaging content, including website content, blogs, infographics, webinars, podcasts, videos, articles, white papers, and other types of publications. Work with external French service providers such as translation agencies and freelance writers. Manage the translation of content to ensure accuracy of information and consistency in tone. Serve as an editor for digital marketing to ensure consistent tone and voice across content. Enforce the international BDO networks corporate visual identity standards, including consistency of look and feel in design and writing styles. Content Distribution Collaborate with the National PDS Marketplace team on optimizing content and supporting initiatives related to the firms national websites and social media channels. Apply SEO best practices to content creation to improve search visibility, engagement, and organic traffic. Create and execute social media campaigns and manage campaign budgets. Monitor content performance and create reports outlining recommendations for improvements. Your Experience and Education University degree in marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field. 45 years of related experience, including handson experience in content creation, preferably in a B2C environment (background in the professional services industry is an asset). Bilingual in English and French is required. Exceptional writing, proofreading and editing skills in both official languages. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail, with proven ability to keep projects on track while balancing competing priorities. Experience using a CMS platform, CRM (Email) Marketing platforms, Google Analytics and other analytics platforms. Solid knowledge of SEO principles and best practices. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Strong knowledge of content marketing principles and related areas such as search engine optimization and writing for the web. Strong knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategies, best practices; experience executing paid campaigns on Facebook and Twitter is an asset. Experience developing a variety of content (written content, infographics, webinars, videos). Reliable business judgement and problemsolving skills. Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects. Excellent interpersonal and clientfocused skills interacts well with all levels of staff and partners with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Selfstarter, motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
