The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in warehouse design, process optimization, and technology implementation.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Update and maintain documentation for standardized workflows and procedures.* Assist with warehouse reconfiguration initiatives and support the implementation of new material handling technologies.* Analyze current warehouse technology and assist in developing recommendations for improvements.* Participate in the development of productivity standards using time study methods.* Support ongoing facility maintenance programs, including racking inspections and safety checks.* Assist in the research and documentation of advanced warehouse automation systems.* Contribute to process improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs within the distribution network.* Provide support for the creation and analysis of operational strategies focusing on safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.**Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications:*** Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related program.* Familiarity with basic concepts of warehouse and distribution operations is a plus.* Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; experience with AutoCAD is an advantage but not required.* An understanding of LEAN principles or Six Sigma methodologies is beneficial but not essential.**Competencies:*** Ability to accurately maintain documentation and follow safety procedures.* Capable of analyzing processes and systems to recommend improvements.* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.* Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.* Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.This role can be based out of any of our 3 distributions centres across Canada:**Ontario:** 10750 Highway 50, Brampton, ON, L6P 0L5**Alberta:** 260233 Range Road 292 Unit 8 Rocky View County, AB T4A 0E2**BC:** 18899 24 Ave Surrey, BC V3S 9V2This posting is for an existing vacancy.
