Job Description On behalf of our client, Full Throttle Power Sports, we are looking for an Accountant to join their growing team. About Our Client: Full Throttle Power Sports, located in Dartmouth, is a leading dealer of recreational vehicles, including ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and boats. Known for their commitment to quality service and strong community ties, they represent top brands such as BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products: SeaDoo, SkiDoo, and CanAm). Their workplace is dynamic, customerfocused, and values teamwork and accountability. The Opportunity: This is a fulltime role based in Dartmouth, NS. As the Accountant, you will play a key role in stewarding the company''s finances, overseeing cash flow, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting. You''ll collaborate closely with management to ensure sound financial planning, accurate analysis, and smooth operations across departments. The Ideal Candidate: You are a detailoriented, experienced accounting professional with at least five years of operational accounting experience. You bring strong problemsolving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to provide management with insightful analysis. Experience with dealership or recreational vehicle industries is considered an asset. Responsibilities: Ensure smooth and profitable operation of the Accounting department. Provide debt management (cash flow) analysis and make recommendations on the use of funds. Oversee daily reconciliation of cash, deposits, banking, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with full analysis of anomalies. Manage budgeting and reforecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Complete payroll processing, government remittances, and warranty claim processing. Work with Sales Manager and Dealer Principal on cashflow, inventory analysis, and interest accounts. Maintain accurate accounting of stock and vehicle inventory with regular audits. Develop SOPs for compliance with accounting tasks and BRP programs. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years operational accounting experience. Accounting designation an asset. Strong mathematical and accounting aptitude with exceptional problemsolving skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; social media familiarity an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities; detailoriented. Valid driver''s license. Benefits: $75,000 - $85,000 annual salary. Health Benefits after probation period. RRSP (eligibility after 1 year of employment). Fulltime, onsite role in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
