Base pay range CA$80,000.00/yr - CA$95,000.00/yr About the Role Insight Global is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join a leading Courier and Logistics organization. This hybrid role requires strong technical expertise in multi-platform database solutions and cloud environments. Youll collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure optimal database performance, security, scalability, and reliability to support complex data needs. Key Responsibilities Database Development & Design: Design, implement, and optimize database systems across multiple technologies Develop efficient schemas, structures, and indexing strategies Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance database performance, scalability, and availability Identify bottlenecks and implement query optimization strategies Deploy and manage database solutions in AWS Utilize cloud-native tools for monitoring, automation, and cost optimization Data Security & Compliance: Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards Work with developers to integrate databases with applications Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues Automation & CI/CD: Build and maintain database CI/CD pipelines Use IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for provisioning Documentation & Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards for stakeholders Required Skills & Experience 510 years of experience as a DBA or in a related field Handson experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL Experience with Amazon Redshift and Amazon DynamoDB Proven experience in AWS environments Strong proficiency in SQL and Python Compensation: $80K - $95K per year + full benefits packages Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
