Watch this video to see why our employees feel like they truly belong here: Purpose Video - Metrie What Youll Do The Territory Manager Outbound position is an entrylevel sales role focused on generating growth through outbound calling, emails, and virtual communication to Metries Band 4 accounts. This position builds foundational sales skills by prospecting, expanding relationships in underdeveloped accounts, and cultivating persistence and resilience in a structured, highvolume environment. The Territory Manager Outbound plays a vital role within the regional sales team, and will report to the Sales Manager for the region. This position is based in Metries Calgary office and requires inbranch presence to foster collaboration, build customer relationships, and develop core sales capabilities. Responsibilities Build rapport and maintain relationships with a diverse range of customers through phone interactions. Proactively initiate outbound customer contact to drive sales, not relying on inbound inquiries. Grow volume in new or underdeveloped accounts by expanding relationships and contacts. Apply a disciplined approach to customer engagement to successfully spark interest without relying on facetoface interaction. Effectively manage a high daily volume of coldtowarm calls, emails, and followups to consistently meet required volume targets. Demonstrate persistence through rejection and maintain energy and focus despite low response rates. Proactively collaborate with other team members to strengthen sales pitches and close opportunities. Maintain strong organization and work within structured workflows, consistently documenting activities and followups in CRM systems. Adhere to structured processes and performance metrics, while embracing new sales processes, tools, and approaches (e.g. CRM or sales scripts). Qualifications A degree in business or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered. Demonstrates a proven track record in prior sales role(s) of increasing sales from accounts using telephone and virtual communication tools exclusively. Highly selfdriven, competitive, and motivated by achievement of sales targets. Communicates clearly and persuasively via phone and email, quickly capturing attention and effectively delivering value propositions. Receptive to feedback and able to adjust tone and messaging to improve outcomes. Exhibits interest in and willingness to grow into an outside sales role based on successful performance. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to a variety of audiences. Proficient in using webbased platforms and tools, including SAP, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is preferred, particularly HubSpot. Prior experience in the construction or building materials industry is preferred; familiarity with Metries products and services is an asset. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or sales incentive payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual''s skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
