Job Description

A leading food manufacturing organization is seeking an accomplished Director of Quality. This role provides the opportunity to shape quality and food safety strategy, elevate standards across multiple facilities, and ensure a consistently outstanding customer experience. The Role As the Director of Quality, you will provide strategic leadership for quality assurance and food safety programs across a national manufacturing network, working closely with senior executives and plant leadership teams. You will own the overall quality and food safety framework, champion a strong quality culture, and ensure products meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a company wide quality management system and food safety programs aligned with business objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations. Establish and standardize testing methods, laboratory practices, and verification activities to drive consistency of quality and food safety performance across all sites. Serve as the senior quality authority for complex quality and food safety issues, directing investigations, root cause analysis, and timely resolution. Promote an authentic culture of quality and food safety through clear communication, visible leadership, and targeted training and development initiatives. Coach and mentor quality teams and crossfunctional leaders, building capability in quality systems, problem solving, and compliance expectations. Qualifications University degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a closely related discipline. 10+ years in quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment. Strong technical background in quality systems, lab methods, and product testing. Exceptional communication and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, engage external partners, and lead highperforming teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
