In this role you will manage projects with full responsibility for the results and drive the development of products, solutions, and/or services that are right on time and competitive in the marketplace, or drive research that ensures Siemens technological lead position. The preferred candidate will be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia or Winnipeg, Manitoba (Hybrid role). A crossfunctional Project Manager position focusing on processes, best practices, and tooling for efficient and timely product releases for delivering new or upgrading existing products. Responsibilities Work with a crossfunctional team to define and manage medical software development project plans that adhere to SHSs product design and development procedures. Create/collaborate on applicable project documents (e.g., design & development plan, risk management plan, etc.). Track, report, and analyze overall project progress and other metrics. Work with other project managers globally to recommend or implement process quality improvements. Perform all required management responsibilities, including recommending or implementing process quality improvements and related tooling, and implementing the companys policies, programs, and guidelines. Must possess the ability, competence, and confidence to lead people, and have effective interpersonal skills. Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge Proficient in technical writing. Utilizing business tools such as Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Monday.com/MS Project, Tempus, etc. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Working knowledge of MS Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps and JAMA will be an asset. Required Education and Experience Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience) and/or 38 years of related experience or Masters/PhD Degree with 25 years of related experience. Desired work experience would include working for a software development or engineering company in roles involving Project Management, Software Development, or Engineering.
