Job Description ROLE: Millwright/Mechanic REPORTS TO: Production Manager LOCATION: Guelph Here Is Who You Are Drive & Motivation You are a hard worker with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done You want to expand your knowledge and learn and improve our unique processes You are a positive and optimistic team player who strives for excellence Character & Abilities You are a quick learner with the ability to learn parts (CMMS) systems quickly You are a multitasker who can juggle priorities, maintain composure, and meet deadlines You have strong mechanical aptitude and can interpret financial/performance reports You are deadlineoriented and able to maintain composure under pressure Skills & Experience You have at least 35 years of experience in dairy, liquid or similar food and beveragetype transformation processes You have experience working closely with a team to fix and solve equipment issues. You have excellent analytical, problemsolving, and projectmanagement skills You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Nice-to-Have Computer skills would be an asset. Experience working with a CMMS would be an asset Familiar with continuous improvement processes and methodologies would be an asset. Things you will do Improve equipment performance and reliability. Repair and maintain equipment (processors, homogenizers, pasteurizers, packaging, etc). Lead local management of parts for projects and coordinate contractors activities as required. Check shipment when they arrive and contact suppliers for any issues or inquiries. Other Night Shift 11pm to 7am Must be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required.
