Position Title: Roofer (NOC 73110) Available Positions: Three (3) Start Dated: As soon as possible Terms of Employment: Permanent Position Full time Weekends, Mornings, daytime and some overtime Wages Starting at $32.00 $34.00/hour for 30 40 hours per week Responsibilities and Duties: Repair, maintain, and remove roofs and the installation of new ones Measure roof to calculate the quantities of required materials Install vapor barriers and layers of insulation Inspected composition shingles, slate shingles and metal roofs for leaks Apply cold process roof coatings Erect rigging as required Determine materials requirements for roof repairs Inspect problem roofs to find out the best way to repair them Find and replace damaged joists and plywood Install shingles, asphalt, metal, or other materials to make the roof watertight Working at heights on flat and slopped roofs Required the use of manual and or power tools Skill / Experience Requirements: Secondary (High) School is an asset One (1) to Two (2) year of experience as a roofer Work Site Environment Fast pace and high pressure at heights; working outside; in a commercial and/or residential setting Contact Information: Fax: 647-723-0432 We''re here to help.
