Market Drugs Medical Ltd. is accepting resumes for the position of Home Medical Supply Sales/ Pharmacy Front Store Associate. Overview Established in 1965, Market Drugs Medical is a family-owned and independently operated community and compounding pharmacy located in Edmonton''s downtown core. We specialize in medical supplies for home use, including ostomy, urological, and wound care dressings. Work hours are day shift on weekdays (9:00am5:00pm) and Saturdays (10:00am2:00pm), with one day off during the week to be determined. No evenings, Sundays, or statutory holidays. Responsibilities Customer service and medical supply sales Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate staff member Answer incoming phone calls and transfer to the appropriate department Cashier responsibilities handle all customer transactions, opening & closing Merchandise front store, including stocking shelves and keeping them organized and tidy Ordering, receiving and pricing inventory (both medical and front store merchandise) Qualifications Superior communication and retail customer service skills (minimum two years experience required) Able to handle cash with accuracy (minimum one year cashier experience required) Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic Able to multitask and work as a team member in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to accuracy and details Willing to learn and take on new challenges and responsibilities Additional Information Previous pharmacy front store retail experience (prefer 2 years+) Previous experience in a home medical supply store is an asset Please include a cover letter with your resume.
