About the Opportunity The Jewish Foundation is seeking to hire a Philanthropic Specialist to provide donor management, project management and administrative support services to various members of the Jewish Foundation and its fundholders/donor networks. Responsibilities Be the primary contact for fundholder communications and coordination of transactions for a portfolio of funds/fundholders, including both individual and organizational funds. Develop relationships, understand charitable interests, ensure connection to the Jewish community, respond to queries, and assist with transactions. Interactions also include advisors and children/successor fund advisers. Understand fund legal agreements and assist with amendments. Manage reporting of fund information to donors. Manage outreach to donors including emails, quarterly and annual mailings. Support and help plan projects and events. Attend donor related events and interact with fundholders. Assist with projects/programs/committees within the Jewish Foundation team and follow up as needed internally and externally with appropriate stakeholders, including but not limited to fundholders, committee members, donors and volunteers. Support Philanthropic Advisors on projects, Foundation events and workflow, ensuring that projects are tracked and flagging any issues as they emerge. Understand, maintain, and suggest improvements to the Foundations CRM system and related business processes. Contribute to the coordination of writing, editing and layout of reports and other report content. Qualifications Completion of post-secondary school. 3-5 years of experience creating systems, general project management and administrative support. Advanced technical skills to support use of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills ability to work independently to meet timelines and priorities. Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills ability to work with a diverse group of professionals, donors and volunteers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail; strategic thinking. Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Compensation and Work Arrangement This is a full-time permanent position. Union Level 4. Salary range: $58,000-$67,000 annually, based on experience. UJA supports a flexible work schedule and all employees engage in hybrid work. In addition to a rich time off policy, UJAs offices are closed on all Jewish holy days (yom tov) and we support early office closures to observe the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat).
