The Faculty of Nursing is comprised of four departments that collectively offer the Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the Bridge to Canadian Nursing, as well as other continuing education credentials and learning experiences. Responsibilities Applications are invited for sessional nursing instructors with clinical experience in all areas of clinical practice for the current and upcoming terms. The successful candidate will: Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and a student-centered approach to learning. Demonstrate a strong understanding of applied nursing practice. Meet the Requisite Skills and Abilities of the applicable nursing profession and adhere to clinical and University placement policies and guidelines. Qualifications Minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing or psychiatric nursing; Unencumbered active licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) and/or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA); Minimum of three years of recent clinical experience in an applicable clinical area; Willingness to travel; past teaching experience is an asset; Commitment to meeting the Requisite Skills and Abilities of the nursing profession.
