Paterson Grain is currently seeking a hardworking, analytical professional to fill the role of Accounting Analyst in our head office in Winnipeg, MB. The successful candidate will manage numerous day-to-day accounting activities. This position is ideally suited for individuals who are well organized, have excellent time management skills and can maintain a high level of performance while maintaining accuracy in a fastpaced environment. Responsibilities Financial analysis of commodity sales and purchases Work closely with commodity traders and logistics coordinators to determine future marketing activity Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements Assisting in the preparation of yearend audit file Preparation of various monthend commodity reports Inventory reconciliations Preparation of commodity foreign currency positions Reviewing and performing analysis of commodity P&Ls Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations related to the commodity P&Ls Provide support for the grain marketing department Qualifications Accounting Diploma/Degree Above average excel skills Outstanding communication skills.
