What youll do: Here is a sample of what your workdays may look like: Working in a field office or onsite at a gas processing facility; interacting daily with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams. Identifying technical issues, risks, and value-adding opportunities. Providing engineering leadership and participation in management of change (MOC), incident and failure analysis, and risk analysis activities. Developing engineering work packages for repair or replacement of pressure equipment and piping. Supporting capital and O&M processes by identifying and prioritizing risks, completing engineering investigations to provide root causes for solution development, supporting initial project submission processes, and providing subjectmatterexpert input. Delivering engineering governance and support accountabilities for major maintenance functions including facility maintenance shutdowns/turnarounds and large equipment overhauls. Ensuring codes, regulations, and company and professional engineering requirements, practices, and standards are adhered to and consistently applied. Fostering winwin relationships with management teams, functional groups, operations personnel, project team members, key stakeholders and contractors. Communicating risks, status, and actions through established reporting methods to ensure management and stakeholders are informed. Analyzing facility diagrams to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards. What we offer: A culture of continuous learning and mentorship from the best in the business (and fun!). What you bring: Required University degree in mechanical engineering discipline. Good knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g. CSA, API, ASME). Valid drivers license and ability to travel. Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Preferred Professional Engineering designation registered with one of the Canadian provincial associations. Previous experience in the natural gas processing industry. Working knowledge of pipeline standards and industry accepted practices, specifically CSA Z662 design code. Experience applying root cause failure analysis (RCFA), hazard analysis, and risk assessment principles. Familiarity with schematic drawings (P&ID, PFD). Field-based engineering experience. Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000. Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate and will be aligned to internal equity.
