One role will support the Mayor, with an emphasis on external communications, while the other will support the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), focusing on internal communications, council priorities, effective operations, and confidential support. The positions are nonunion, exempt, and involve confidential matters such as labour negotiations, legal issues, and seniorpersonnel files. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, political acuity, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Ideal Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an executive assistant or legal/HR support role, preferably within a municipal or public sector environment involving confidential and labourrelated matters. Organization & Project Management: Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Board/Council Governance: High level of political acuity, discretion, and professionalism; familiarity with municipal government operations, labour environments, and governance processes is a strong asset. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with content management systems is an asset. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven experience managing confidential and privileged information; bilingualism in English/French considered an asset. Education: Postsecondary education in business administration, public administration, legal studies, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
