About us Haven Healthcare is an acupuncture clinic in Oshawa, ON. We specialize in providing acupuncture and TCM in a supportive, calming environment. We are looking for an Associate to join our team and provide acupuncture/TCM services to patients. We strongly prefer R.TCMPs, however will consider R.Ac candidates who have additional training in TCM gynecology or another specialized area of treatment. Our clinic is equipped with everything needed (and more) to allow our practitioners to focus on what they do best - helping people heal. We are not just looking for someone to fill an opening; we are looking for the right practitioner to add their unique approach to our offerings. We want a practitioner who is trauma informed, patient centered, honest and ethical. Practitioner must hold R.Ac or R.TCMP license, in good standing with the CTCMPAO. DO NOT APPLY if you do not have the above mentioned qualifications. MUST have professional and commercial liability insurance MUST be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per week, with at least one weekend OR evening shift. MUST be looking for a long term position. Included: All supplies needed Cleaning and laundry services Online booking and charting system Direct billing for clients Free parking Collaborative work environment with other practitioners Advertising/Marketing Competetive split schedule with eventual cap Administrative support: Practitioners are not responsible for email communication or online marketing and receive support with booking and billing. Expected: Responsible practice: We are trauma informed, ethical, client centred. We develop solid relationships with our clients and connect with them in a personable and meaningful way. Independent and reliable: Show up on time well in advance of clients, complete all charting as per CTCMPAO requirements, complete light administrative work (reschedule patients, answer the phone if you''re able to), clean up after yourself, be open to mentorship and collaboration Hustle and work ethic: A desire to work and grow your client base. Some flexibility with schedule to accomodate patients as you grow, ability to see a minimum of 4 patients a day with a desire to see much more Thorough and effective: We are not a ''needles in needles out'' clinic. We use cupping, tui na, gua sha, etc. We make TCM diet and lifestyle recommendations. Specialized: Additional training in TCM gynecology/fertility care (or are open to mentorship).
