About the Job We are hiring a Subcontract Administrator to step into a new role for our Subcontracts team on the Ontario Line Project (RSSOM) This position reports to the Subcontracts Manager. What You Will Be Doing Overseeing different topics of the Construction Contract obligation with the Client, as well as the interface obligations of the Civil Joint Venture with Systems partner, and with Operation and Maintenance partner, as required. Coordinating with different departments, such as design, interface, and construction, to ensure seamless execution and fulfillment of contractual obligations. Participating actively in processes that enable early notification of delay events, claims or disputes. Providing contractual input for the Variations assessments. Providing support by assessing the impact of the claim and providing data to support and defend the Joint Venture position. Expedite Change Management process by liaising with multiple cross function team members to ensure timely preparation of Change Orders and Change Directives. Ensure appropriate and accurate contractual correspondence with subcontractors, including preparation of minutes of meeting on Contractual matters, disputes and performance issues. Assist in identification and tracking of all contractual deliverables including bonds, reports and insurance certificates and insurance claims etc. Coordination with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance, subcontract administration and other key matters. Ensuring, with the rest of the team, compliance with contract requirements and contract management-related matters Provides technical expertise to support the negotiations of major/complex subcontracts. Accountable for ensuring Civil Joint Venture delivers and executes in accordance with terms of their obligations and scope of work. Drafting timely and accurate contractual correspondence. Keeping a record of important correspondence and events of the project (to track and record the timeline of the main topics/events). Maintain organized and detailed records of all contract-related communications, changes, and agreements. What We Are Looking For? Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Proven experience (About 8 years) in contract administration or management within the construction industry major projects. Strong understanding of contract terms, conditions, and legal requirements. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Excellent communication (oral and written English) skills are essential. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness, and ability to notice errors. Ability to identify potential issues and risks Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint). Expected Compensation Successful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between $100,000.00 CAD - $125,000.00 CAD. The exact salary you will earn within this range is dependent on the specific project to which you are assigned. Why Choose Webuild?
