Position Overview The Multifamily Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering fullcycle multifamily residential construction projectsfrom initial planning and budgeting through execution, commissioning, and closeout. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality, safety, and performance expectations. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Startup Coordinate project startup activities with building departments, engineers, architects, consultants, and regulatory bodies. Review drawings, tender documents, and specifications; provide constructability insights and risk considerations. Develop project schedules, procurement plans, and execution strategies. Project Execution & Coordination Lead daily project operations to ensure alignment with client expectations, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Coordinate closely with Site Supervisors, Project Coordinators, subcontractors, and external consultants. Manage shop drawings, RFIs, material procurement, and project documentation. Implement and maintain site and public safety practices. Financial Oversight Monitor costs, schedule performance, cash flow, and overall project profitability. Manage budgets, forecasting, cost controls, change orders, and progress billings. Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies. Oversee closeout activities including deficiency resolution, turnover packages, and final inspections. Address outstanding construction or client issues to ensure successful project completion. Qualifications Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a CET credential (or equivalent construction education). 35+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in multifamily or highrise residential construction . Strong understanding of residential construction methods, building drawings, and specifications. Proficiency in project management platforms such as Procore or MS Project. Strong analytical, problemsolving, communication, and timemanagement abilities. Ability to manage subcontractors, lead teams, and maintain positive client relationships. Preferred Qualifications Experience with highrise condo or multifamily residential projects. LEED certification or experience with sustainable construction practices.
